Mr Jeremy Harris BDS DPDS MScImpDent (Eng) GDC No 55300

Jeremy Harris is the principle dentist for Pure Dental Health & Wellbeing. He is highly qualified with about 20 years experience in Dental Implantology. He qualified in Edinburgh in 1981 with distinctions in Periodontology and Orthodontics and also received the Dall medal for crown and bridgework.

After working in Cornwall & Devon, Jeremy opened his present practice in Truro in 1991. In 1992 he decided to focus on the specialised fields of Implantology and Reconstructive/Cosmetic Dentistry.

During 2000-2001 Jeremy underwent a years intensive formalised training with Hilt Tatum, a world renowned Implant dentist, innovator and teacher. This was an accredited 350 hour teaching programme in conjunction with Lille University. A Diploma in Postgraduate Dental Studies was awarded in 2001 and following a further 3½ years of intensive study Jeremy gained a Master of Science Degree in Implant Dentistry in 2006.

He is a member of the Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry (SAAD), the Association of Dental Implantology (ADI) and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI).

Jeremy was a Teaching Fellow on the Masters programme at Warwick University Medical School, 2006-2007 and is presently involved with the Royal College of Surgeons Implant Diploma. This course is widely considered to be the most comprehensive Implant training programme in the UK and sets the gold standard for practical Implant education.

Jeremy has lived and been educated in England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Canada.

He is an avid reader, follower of Formula 1 Grand Prix racing for 25 years and enjoys angling, gardening, mountaineering and rock/ice climbing.
